Oh Fran, how can you ask me such a question? As if I sit there and doodle to the same album on repeat the whole time…I would go insane. By just asking me this question you have nearly made my head explode….how can I choose between so much great music that inspires me….I cant.

So… all I can do is list a few of my favourite doodle inspiring tunes to get you started and you should get the idea of the kinda thing I have pumping when I get down and doodling.

I have been asked this question before and I never really know how to answer it. I have a few choice pens but don’t know their names. I try a new one every time and tend to go for permanent black fibre tipped pens. The thinner the better but some are better than others some still smudge and some are great. I never remember the good ones and always forget not to get the bad ones again. Basically it is not the pen you use but the person holding it that is important. Pen , pencil, marker, quill….whatever you use try and be creative, try and be different and try and be yourself! everything else will fall into place.
