Hey bro. Do you have any suggestions on a good starting board? I'm not exactly sure, but i'm thinking that I'd mostly be doing cruising with some slides thrown in there.
good starting boards…hmmmm. Well it doesnt really matter when you first start out as long as it has wheels and trucks and gets you from A to B. I suggest getting a fairly cheap set up just until you find out what you like to do and how you like to ride. Most boards will slide if you put the effort in and cruising is all about style so thats about you and not the board. Then when you have shredded the hell out of it you will be in a better position to decide what you need next. Board are all about personal preference. Expensive doesn’t mean best necessarily. Take a look around maybe get a second hand deck and hit the streets. good luck and keep pushing along. Crease.
Awesome. How long is your board? & did you make the gloves yourself? I made a pair from gardening gloves & old tile samples I got at like, Home Depot. Superglue is amazing stuff.
Thanks… for the comment. I like the way it is looking too. My board is 41.5” or 105cm long depending on your preference and yes I did make my gloves myself… check them out here A pair of rigging gloves with cut and sanded coping board pieces, glued down with glue sticks melted with a heat gun. Fun to make and work really well…. That super glue is some sticky stuff. Good work.
